SoWIDE is a research group at the Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Parma. We do research in the following fields:
- Social media analysis: sentiment analysis, emotion detection, information retrieval, troll detection, social network analysis.
- Artificial intelligence: machine learning, swarm intelligence, evolutionary computing, semantic web.
- Distributed systems: multi-agent and actor-based systems, peer-to-peer social networks, trust management.
- Software engineering: agent-oriented and object-oriented programming, paradigms and languages, computational thinking.
